Hand painted place setting with Ricco Deruta decoration with Dinner plate 11" + Soup plate 10" + Salad Plate 9".  The Ricco Deruta decoration is the most representative decoration of Deruta. Entirely hand painted in the more classic scalloped shape. The Ricco Deruta decoration is one of the most representative decorations of Deruta and its ceramics. A decoration that dates back to the early 1500s and was also taken up by the fabulous painter Pietro di Cristoforo Vannucci, known as il Perugino. In this version the Ricco Deruta has been finished with cobalt blue instead of yellow and orange.
